The essence of complementary design
Branding for Verbeia Moorland. Homeopathic essences and body care products.
Jenny Howarth, a successful homeopath based in the beautiful Yorkshire market town of Ilkley, approached Bulletpoint to develop a brand for her new business venture selling her own range of homeopathic essences and body care products.
The name, Verbeia, is taken from that of a Celtic-Roman goddess native to the surrounding Ilkley Moor (of Ilkley Moor bar t’at fame) and Wharfedale where Jenny sources the flowers, rocks and water she utilises in making her products. This carven figure, faintly to be seen now, on a Roman alter stone served as the inspiration for Jenny’s renewed Verbeia.

Additional product ranges, to sit alongside Moorland, are intended to follow. These will come under the main Verbeia brand, retaining the character and logotype but using different natural, but complementary, colours and secondary fonts for each of these named ranges.

“Having worked with Paul and Chris for a few years now, I have no hesitation in coming back to them for inspired design and creative work for my new company.
“At Bulletpoint Design I felt my ideas were listened to, challenged where appropriate and discussed honestly. Draft logo and artwork was always shared at each step of the process and my input was valued. It was a great experience to work with such professional ability, whilst not losing control of what was my project! Over the past years, I have been proud of the logo and artwork that has driven my business forward and attracted many positive comments.
“Now that my initial business is moving on, I am excited at the thought of working again with Bulletpoint, already anticipating the logo and artwork that will play a critical role in my business launch.”
